The most important aspect of shoe fit is the foundation of the shoe, the "last (wooden mold)."
Leather shoes are shaped by covering the last with leather.
To create riding boots that fit Japanese feet, a last that fits Japanese feet must be made.

Therefore, we sought the cooperation of a long-established manufacturer with a long history in Kobe and Nagata, one of Japan's leading shoe production areas.
We produced samples and conducted riding tests with instructors.
Feedback from the test results was used to adjust the last by shaving or adding material.
Since these are long boots, the upper part above the ankle is designed with patterns rather than a last.
This part is also finely adjusted.
If there are issues with the materials, we change the type of leather or tanning method to get closer to completion.
After more than three years and over 10 prototypes, the final sample was completed.

The mass production of the boots was entrusted to an overseas factory that has been producing riding boots for Germany and the UK for many years.
After several revisions of the mass production samples, it took an additional year to complete the boots that can be offered to everyone.
