The "GX Series" aims to withstand shocks from all directions (X=extra) and adopts the GXW-56※ as the base model, which has a unique form. The two-layer urethane bezel features a hard urethane on the outside to guard against shocks and a soft urethane on the inside to absorb shocks, enhancing the protective capability of the entire bezel. 
Furthermore, we have incorporated shock-absorbing Alpha Gel in four locations: 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 12 o'clock of the inner protector.
The structure is designed to block shocks multiple times so that even if the impact is transmitted inside the case, it does not reach the module itself. 

In terms of design, it expresses strength and ruggedness. The coloring is thoroughly focused on black, using a uniform matte black.

It features a new shock-resistant structure incorporating a newly developed two-layer urethane bezel and inner protector.
The 2-layer urethane bezel is a new structure that overlays an additional bezel on the inside of the conventional urethane bezel.
The outer layer is made of hard urethane to guard against impact, while the inner layer is made of soft urethane to absorb shock.
The soft urethane bezel covers the button area, enhancing the overall protective capability of the bezel without compromising the operability of the buttons.
The inner protector that covers the module is molded from urethane to have a bellows-shaped cross-section.
The unevenness expands and contracts to serve the role of suspension, preventing shocks from being transmitted directly to the module.
The vulnerable LCD surface is covered with a protector up to the limit where visibility can be ensured, protecting it from impacts. The uneven shape of the protector surrounding the LCD surface adds a sense of strength to the face design.
In terms of design, it expresses robustness and toughness. It uses the largest case size in G-SHOCK history, resulting in a powerful form.
