Since 1983 in Hurricane, Utah. CHUMS was founded in 1983 when the founder, who was a river guide in Utah, felt the need for a glasses holder to prevent sunglasses from falling. This led to the creation of the "Original Retainer." It all started with the inspiration of a single river guide, and now, 35 years later, CHUMS continues to bring to life the idea of "wouldn't it be nice to have such an item" in everyday life.
