This percentage (%) indicates how much visible light can pass through sunglasses or lenses.
The lower the value, the less light passes through, appearing darker (higher light-blocking ability), and the higher the value, the brighter it appears.
This is an important indicator for reducing glare from sunglasses and choosing brightness for visibility while driving.

※2 Ultraviolet Transmittance
Ultraviolet transmittance indicates the percentage of ultraviolet (UV) rays that can pass through sunglasses lenses or clothing.
The lower this value, the higher the UV cut function, and generally, a value of 1.0% or less (cutting over 99% of UV rays) is considered excellent.
If it is "0.1% or less" or "less than 1%", it almost does not allow UV rays to pass through.
