These shoes have a width equivalent to 3E (wide), but many people purchase one size larger in anticipation of wearing thicker socks and then adjust the size with commercially available insoles.
For our staff member who usually wears size 26.0cm (he has a high instep), 26.0cm was just right, but 27.0cm was a little large.
This product is not waterproof, so we recommend using a commercially available waterproof spray when using it on snow.
