"A new smartphone case that is the coolest ever" was the idea behind launching this brand in October 2017. It is a new and innovative smartphone case brand MADE IN JAPAN.
The brand name is a coined word combining the Italian words for "creation" and "innovation," with the concept of "creation and innovation" as its foundation.
To achieve this, instead of making bags, wallets, or shoes, the founder personally traveled to France to find a tanner to source leather exclusively for making smartphone cases.
The tanner he found is a company established in 1927 near the Spanish border in southern France.
It is a traditional tannery that has been around for nearly 100 years, using old-fashioned methods and techniques that involve manual processing, and is used by top domestic and international maison brands. It was truly top-tier leather.
This time, with the cooperation of the tannery, we successfully purchased leather directly from Remy Company.
It is probably the only smartphone case manufactured in Japan using this leather, under the Demiurvo brand.
There is a saying, "Onko chishin" (温故知新).
It means to seek out old things to learn new things. Following the traditional high-quality leather manufacturing techniques of the old Europe, we aim to break the conventional concept of smartphone cases and create something innovative.
