■ Vulcanization process
This method involves adding sulfur to raw rubber and applying heat to bond and mold the rubber sole to the upper.
As a result of this reaction, rubber gains elasticity and strength, making it suitable for sneaker soles.
Because the sole and upper are strongly bonded, the shoes are durable, less likely to break, and resistant to losing shape.
On the other hand, because it involves more manual work and has lower productivity compared to other manufacturing methods, there is a tendency to avoid it. However, the intricate and beautiful 'craftsmanship' that can only be created through skilled handwork is its charm.
