The manufacturing method is the vulcanization process, which can only be produced in very few factories in Japan.

■ Vulcanization Process
This method involves adding sulfur to raw rubber and applying heat to bond and shape the rubber sole and upper.
As a result of this reaction, the rubber gains elasticity and strength, making it suitable for sneaker soles.
Because the sole and upper are strongly bonded, they are durable and resistant to breakage, and they maintain their shape well.
On the other hand, this method requires a lot of manual labor and has lower productivity compared to other methods, which can lead to a tendency to avoid it. However, the intricate and beautiful "craftsmanship" that can only be produced by skilled handwork is its charm.
