The envelope-type upper that covers the entire instep is inherited from the equally popular classic Zurich.

About the Footbed The footbed, which is the heart of any BIRKENSTOCK shoe, is made from sustainable, natural materials: natural cork, jute, natural latex and suede lining.
The anatomically contoured footbed provides firm support for the longitudinal and lateral arches of the foot, relieving pressure.
By providing firm support for your feet, it helps to promote good health.
When it comes to suede and nubuck leather, BIRKENSTOCK only uses raw materials that are strictly quality controlled.
A sustainable, natural material, leather is breathable, wicks sweat and conforms to the individual shape of your foot.
Suede is a type of leather with a brushed underside that has long fibers and is highly flexible.
It also has holes for excellent breathability.
Nubuck leather is a type of brushed leather.
It features a velvet-like texture that is achieved by finishing with fine sandpaper.
About the outsole: The EVA outsole features a shiny bone pattern, a mark of Birkenstock's originality.
The 10mm thick EVA outsole is lightweight, extremely durable and flexible.
About the suede lining: The surface of the cork footbed is soft and gentle against the skin.
