‘SHAKA’ was a sandal brand that actually existed in South Africa in the 1990s.
They produced sandals with high-quality, innovative designs incorporating traditional African patterns and colors, which quickly gained recognition worldwide. However, after the abolition of apartheid in 1994, they closed their factory due to labor issues, and the brand itself disappeared.
And after more than ten years, in 2013, it was finally revived.
From the archives of that time, faithfully reproducing features characteristic of Shaka such as the sole shape and brightly colored nylon tape, while improving sole strength, cushioning, and fit, resulting in an evolved, modern version of Shaka.
We aim to express the world view of “ONE AND ONLY”.

This season's new SNUG MULE, arranged as a moccasin, features a removable quilt tassel, making it a versatile pair.
Using real suede gives a sense of class, and it can be active not only in casual styles but also as a dressy accent.
The sole and strap are in the same color tone.
