M has a slightly roomy fit in the foot width and instep. The shaft circumference is slim, but it fits well because it is made of rubber. The toe allowance is about 5mm. S fits perfectly in the foot width and instep. There is no room at the toe, and the tip of the big toe touches, so it cannot be chosen.
