M fits perfectly in width and instep. The toe allowance is about 10mm. The shaft circumference fits perfectly. L has a bit more room in width and instep. The toe allowance is about 20mm. The shaft circumference has about three fingers' worth of room. It stretches and feels soft without any tightness, so it is slim but fits well.
