"BIRKENSTOCK" was established when it successfully commercialized sandals for the first time in the early 1960s, based on the footbed (Einlagen) that had been in production since 1896.
All brands start here and now offer a rich variety.
Since its establishment, we have consistently focused on domestic production in Germany, continuing to release standard items that transcend the times and trends.
Each model is named after cities around the world, inspired by Karl Birkenstock's wish for "the health of all people, regardless of age, gender, race, or borders."

Tatacoa, inspired by Birkenstock's classic Milano.
The upper is made of a skin-friendly and highly durable synthetic material called Birko-Flor.
Using hook-and-loop fasteners instead of buckles, the heel part of the outsole is also firmly reinforced, providing excellent functionality.
The appeal lies in the ease of walking and high fit based on ergonomics.
And the deep heel groove supports the correct stable posture.
The three-dimensional design holds only the necessary parts of the toes, achieving a comfortable fit.
