The company name "Nanga" is derived from "Nanga Parbat" in the Himalayas. Nanga Parbat, at an elevation of 8126m, is the ninth highest mountain in the world and is also feared as the "Killer Mountain," having caused many accidents due to its difficult ascent. The name reflects the founder Akira Yokota's belief that "because it is difficult, we will do it; we will climb where others do not." NANGA's commitment lies in down.
