SUKU2 【Tamahiyo Collaborative Project】 Idaho BABY MID T

Together with the Benesse Tamahiyo editorial team, we designed shoes that moms would want. These shoes are aimed at toddlers aged approximately 1 to 3 years. They are a mid-cut type that excels in ankle stability. The fan-shaped toe area allows for free movement of the toes, making it easy to grip. The outer sole features "Flex Groove" with grooves arranged according to the foot's flexion point, allowing it to flexibly follow the foot's movements. Emphasizing heel stability, we use a three-dimensional insole that wraps around the heel. The surface material of the insole incorporates Shine Up, which has antibacterial and deodorizing effects, and Water Magic, which quickly absorbs and disperses sweat to maintain a dry feeling. This keeps the inside of the shoes comfortable. Additionally, we included a line as a guideline for size out and illustrations to help children recognize the left and right shoes. The upper is made of breathable Russell mesh. To express the pure image of children, we used clear material for the Asics stripes. Reflective materials (reflectors) that reflect light from streetlights and car lights are placed on the heel.
