■ Vulcanization process
This method involves adding sulfur to raw rubber, heating it to induce a reaction, and then bonding and molding the rubber sole to the upper.
As a result of this reaction, the rubber gains elasticity and strength, making it suitable for sneaker soles.
Because the sole and upper are strongly bonded, the shoes are durable, less likely to break, and resistant to losing their shape.
On the other hand, since it involves more manual work and has lower productivity compared to other manufacturing methods, there is a tendency to avoid it. However, the craftsmanship that can only be produced by skilled manual work offers exquisite and beautiful 'craftsmanship' that is truly attractive.
