Discovered in California, a heavy canvas shoulder bag "NEWSBOY BAG" used by children delivering newspapers in the 1930s.


The material features vintage-style canvas with wash processing, and

the adjuster parts use iron components.


The wide shoulder handle reduces burden on the shoulders, and

the wide gusset remains true to the original design, with the length of the shoulder handle adjusted to be shorter,

reconstructed as a body bag that contours to the body.


The stitching of the shoulder handle is intentionally placed at random intervals,

expressing the rugged craftsmanship of vintage items, and

faithfully reproduces details such as rivet fastenings and sewing seen on old-style newsboy bags.


By inheriting the gestures and craftsmanship passed down over many years

as an "aesthetic," and aging it with one's own body,

it becomes a unique, timeless product that can be passed on to the future.

Taiga Takahashi is a brand by Japanese designer Daisuke Takahashi. The brand concept is, "Reviving relics of the past to excavate future archaeological artifacts."

Since his teens, he has collected clothes over 70 to 100 years old through overseas antique dealers and antique art merchants, totaling over several thousand pieces. Through these collections, he studies clothes that exist now or in the future from an archaeological perspective.

Starting from the fall/winter season of 2021, the brand has launched a full-scale expansion in Japan.

In April 2022, designer Daisuke Takahashi passed away.

From the 2023-24 season, the brand name was changed to "T.T".

Daisuke Takahashi was born in 1995. He attended the London International School of Art, then went on to Central Saint Martins. He gained experience as a design assistant at maison brands in Antwerp and London. After graduation, he started Taiga Takahashi in New York.
