An eyewear collection by Mr. Yamamura from the vintage eyewear shop 'SPEAKEASY' in Kobe and Mr. Yanagihara from the vintage eyewear shop 'Fre'quence' in Sapporo. Both are specialists in French vintage frames (frames made in France) from the 1940s-50s, known for their high quality and global leadership in the field. They meticulously disassemble each piece of rare deadstock glasses down to small screws and photograph them, publishing an archive book, 'Frame France,' with all parts shown at full size. These experts deeply understand the world of French vintage eyewear. Based on the timeless design and details of French vintage, they modernize only the size to make the atmosphere of French vintage frames more accessible to many people, without extensive editing, creating a more contemporary feel.
Each piece is produced by hand by craftsmen.

Understanding the high design and essence of French vintage, they preserve the details and atmosphere while only modernizing the size.
This collection is created with respect and expression. The frames use relatively affordable acetate, making it an ideal first step into vintage eyewear, with a price and design that are accessible.

The collection features guepard’s custom flat lenses with multi-coating only on the back side, adopting a reflective surface that mimics the atmosphere of lenses before coating technology was common.
This enhances the vintage feel.
The nose pads are set higher to make them easier for Asians to wear, and the nose pads are made of the same fabric as the main body, proof of non-mass production.
Accessories such as tags and oil paper also recreate elements of vintage French eyewear from that era.
