He then trained at Foster Brothers Footwear in Bolton and became a master craftsman.
Mr. Foster, the founder of Foster Brothers Footwear, was also the grandfather of Joe Foster and Jeff Foster, the founders of Reebok.
Mr. Walsh's skills were recognized by Mr. Foster, and he worked as a craftsman dedicated to professional athletes.
Subsequently, in 1961, he established 'Norman Walsh Footwear'.

The authentic running model 'Tornado' supported the feet of the top finishers in the 1983 London Marathon.
