CONVERSE
The history of Converse began in 1908 in Malden, Massachusetts, USA. Marquis M. Converse, who was a manager at the Beacon Falls Rubber Company, focused on the regional characteristics of Massachusetts, which had heavy snowfall and deep forests and wetlands, and established the Converse Rubber Shoe Company. The following year, he began manufacturing rubber shoes that could be used in rain and snow. His expectations were met, and Converse's rubber shoes received overwhelming support due to their high quality, growing into a prominent local company with 350 employees by 1910.
