[The sole does not peel off even after long-term wear]
The AMBUR Tajtan leather sole collection features a Goodyear welted construction around the entire sole.
"360-Degree Full Makkei Method".
The heel is made using a meticulous bottoming technique, similar to the Goodyear method, where the sole is first stitched all around with a McKay stitch, and then the heel is attached to the sole. Additionally, the welt (edge) undergoes a manual 【nail-out processing】, and the area around the heel is also hand-trimmed.

Beautiful form and shape
The same three-dimensional cutting technology and manufacturing used in the production of high-end custom suits [Prêt-à-Porter] has been realized for mass production through our [unique 3D upper molding technology] that adheres each cut part onto a wooden mold.
In the upper sewing (lasting) stage, we minimize the use of adhesives to the extreme and also reduce the use of doublures (reinforcements) to the bare minimum, thereby alleviating the burden and stress on the leather and maximizing the inherent texture and functionality of natural leather.

[Carefully selected natural leather (raw hide) and meticulously chosen secondary materials]
The upper is made of cowhide grain leather (silver-tipped leather).
* We are particular about the raw leather. We do not use cowhide raw leather of unknown origin.
★During the final finishing of the upper, we do not apply any spray (lacquer) finishes to conceal imperfections in order to maintain the natural texture and breathability of the genuine leather. Therefore, there may be small leather scratches or veins. We appreciate your understanding.
★Due to the characteristics of natural cowhide with silver, the fiber layers of the leather are hard at the beginning of wear because they are intricately intertwined. However, as you wear them, the fiber layers will loosen due to walking movements and changes in temperature and body heat, eventually conforming to your feet.

☆The lining material is made entirely of cowhide, providing a gentle feel against the foot inside the shoe and also alleviating moisture.
We pursue maximizing the functionality and characteristics that natural leather inherently possesses, which is the feature of [Leather Breathes].
The counter uses the leather board molded counter from Italy's BACO company, which does not lose its shape even after long periods of wear and has an excellent hold on the heel.
The sole is made of natural cow leather. The welt and heel use recycled cow leather, which is made by collecting and compacting the fine particles of leather that occur during the production and processing of leather soles. Its functionality and efficacy are almost the same as regular leather, and it is made from environmentally friendly materials.
The space between the upper's backside and the sole and midsole (interior) is generously filled with Portuguese "granulated cork". Just like shoes made with the Goodyear method, the more you wear them, the cork "sinks in" to match the shape of the wearer's foot, eventually transforming into an insole (midsole) that conforms to the shape of the wearer's foot (footbed).
Also, we use high-quality, durable waxed laces made in Spain for our carefully selected shoelaces.

[Hand-polished and hand-dyed finish with attention to detail]
The entire shoe is treated with an antique finish using custom ink from KENDA in Italy, and additionally, the toe and heel areas are meticulously polished by hand, taking time and effort to achieve a glossy finish.

Wooden mold / LAST
The wooden mold used is 【DEUS】 Italian style.
The last "Deus," developed in 2019, features a bold shape with an Italian classic square toe, a deep curve, and a slim square toe, but it was developed in 【EE width】 to accommodate the shoe width of Japanese people.
"In addition, it is a last developed to more vividly express the 【three-dimensional cutting and 3D patterns】 that achieve a beautiful shape. We are pursuing the expression of the curves and shapes of this last without any omissions."

※As it is made of natural leather, there may be slight scratches, bloodlines, or unevenness due to the nature of the material.
