HIP WALLET WITH DIVIDER
A simple and finely crafted bifold wallet.
A refined finish with a calm look that has no waste, featuring deliberately thinly sliced leather for both on and off use. The interior has a very simple design with three card pockets, a flap coin pocket, and two bill compartments. The bill compartment has a divider, allowing you to organize receipts and bills while using it. *Japanese banknotes can also be accommodated without any issues.
In addition, the coin purse with a snap-button flap has a foldable side gusset, providing more storage capacity than it appears.

By applying a turn-edge treatment that covers the edges with leather, the touch of the surface that comes into contact with the hand is softened, showcasing the refined design with intricate details characteristic of leather wallets.

One of the characteristics of bridle leather is the white powder called 'bloom' that appears on the surface of the leather. This is wax that could not be absorbed into the leather and has crystallized to the surface. The product you purchased is delivered in its original state without removing the bloom. The bloom will naturally wear off with use, but if you are concerned, you can brush it off if you wish. Please enjoy using it for a long time in your preferred leather condition.

At Glenroyal, we use bridle leather to create a wide variety of products. Notably, the process of making bridle leather is remarkable. First, in the process of transforming hide into leather, we employ "vegetable tanning." This method involves soaking the leather in a solution of tannins extracted from the bark of plants for an extended period, making it a labor-intensive process. Furthermore, after tanning, we manually impregnate the leather with beef tallow and beeswax, and there are various processes and innovations both before and after tanning. It may seem inefficient and contrary to modern times, but it is all aimed at producing durable, shape-retaining, high-quality leather.
