In the summer of 1994, Kim Gordon of SONIC YOUTH, along with her friend and former 'XLARGE' shop staff Daisy Von Furth, launched the brand.
The opportunity arose when Mike D of the BEASTIE BOYS, who was involved with XLARGE established in 1991, reached out to Kim, with whom he had previously interacted.
By launching items that Kim and Daisy want to wear, which are essentially their real clothes, along with items featuring graphics and designs, X-girl has gained attention as a women's street brand that not only leads the 'GIRL’S MOVEMENT' in the fashion industry but also involves music and art.
Incorporating various elements from the street scenes of music, culture, and sports, we continue to propose basic items that do not get boring, reflecting the 'real girls' street style' in line with the changes of the times.

A collaboration sweat made using Champion's representative manufacturing method 'REVERSE WEAVE' has arrived.
This season pays homage to the 'Ohio State' college print, a popular vintage item from Champion.
The design, featuring a graphic that combines the popular 'Riot Grrrl' and 'X-girl' from last year, has been further processed, making it attractive.
The small embroidered patch of the Champion C logo at the sleeve hem serves as a subtle accent.
