A simply designed leather tote, carefully crafted in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, a bag production region with over 1,000 years of history.
The material used is waterproof leather produced by Sanyo in Himeji, one of the largest tanners in Japan.
It is finished using only oil to give it a thick, unpolished, natural look and feel.
During the tanning process, a fluorine-free waterproofing material is applied, which prevents water stains caused by rain and reduces the risk of color transfer.
