In the summer of 1994, Kim Gordon of SONIC YOUTH, along with her friend and former 'XLARGE' shop staff Daisy Von Furth, launched the brand.
In 1991, Mike D of the BEASTIE BOYS, who was involved with XLARGE, reached out to Kim, with whom he had previously established a connection.
By launching the clothes that Kim and Daisy want to wear, which are their real clothes-like items as X-girl, and developing items with graphics and designs, it gained attention as a women's street brand that not only influenced the fashion industry but also involved music and art as a pioneer of 'GIRL’S MOVEMENT.'
Incorporating various elements from the street scene of music, culture, and sports, we continue to propose basic items that embody 'real girls' street style' while adapting to the changes of the times.
