The story behind choosing this fabric is that, related to the Expo and the psychedelic patterns of the 70s, I showed it to Take-sensei, who said,
“When I was a kid, my dad often doodled Billiken. For some reason, it was always Billiken.”
He shared this memory, and it was immediately adopted.
