To achieve this, instead of making bags, wallets, or shoes, they sourced leather exclusively for making smartphone cases, and the founder personally traveled to France to find a tanner.
The tanner they found is a company established in 1927 near the Spanish border in southern France.
It is a traditional tannery that has been around for nearly 100 years, using old-fashioned methods and techniques that involve all handwork, and is used by top domestic and international maison brands.
This time, with the cooperation of the tannery, they successfully purchased leather directly from Remy Company.
It is probably unique in Japan for a smartphone case made with this leather.
There is a saying, "Onko Chishin" (温故知新).
It means to seek out old things to learn new things.
