The founder of adidas, Adi Dassler, developed the first sprinting spikes, "Dassler Shoes," in 1927 out of a passionate desire to create the best sports shoes. Since then, he has dedicated himself to product manufacturing based on three beliefs, and in 1948, "adidas" was finally born. "To develop the best shoes tailored to the needs of each sport," "to protect athletes from injury," and "to create durable products." Today, adidas has gained immense trust from athletes worldwide, securing a solid position and providing not only sports shoes but also various sports gear and apparel. The sports heritage was once innovative, now classic, and always authentic. This division is symbolized by the trefoil logo that debuted in 1972. Today, it is featured as part of the adidas Originals lineup.
