◆Using high-quality extra fine wool
The lamb wool produced in the Gilon region of Australia is said to be particularly high in quality. Lamb wool comes from the fleece of lambs sheared within six months of age and has the unique fine hair characteristic of lambs.
Extra fine lamb wool (SLH24) is selected from the finest Merino breed of extra fine lamb (18.5 to 19μ) among lamb wools. Wool, often referred to as a 'functional fiber' in nature, possesses various functional characteristics such as heat retention and moisture retention. The texture of the wool is very delicate, light, and soft. Because it is spun yarn, even fine counts have good bulk, resulting in a soft and gentle finish. It is a material that can express the highest quality of wool. When made into a hat, it features a soft, fluffy, and gentle finish, making it very warm.
