Discovered in California, a heavy canvas shoulder bag "NEWSBOY BAG" used by children delivering newspapers in the 1930s


Here, the shoulder handle length has been shortened and adjusted, and it has been resized from Lot.004 to the SMALL size, similar to a body bag.


The material features vintage-style canvas with a wash finish, and

The wide shoulder handle reduces burden on the shoulders, and

The wide gusset remains as it was at the time,

It has been reconstructed as a body bag that contours to the body.


The stitching on the shoulder handle is intentionally placed at random intervals,

Details such as rivet fastenings and sewing, which are seen in old-style newsboy bags, are faithfully reproduced.

Taiga Takahashi is a brand by Japanese designer Daisuke Takahashi. The brand concept is "Reviving relics of the past to excavate future archaeological artifacts."

Since his teens, he has collected clothes over 70 to 100 years old through overseas antique dealers and antique art merchants. The collection numbers in the thousands. Through these collections, he studies clothes that exist now or in the future from an archaeological perspective.

Starting from the fall/winter season of 2021, the brand has begun full-scale expansion in Japan.

In April 2022, designer Daisuke Takahashi passed away.

From the 2023-24 season, the brand name was changed to "T.T".

Daisuke Takahashi was born in 1995. He enrolled at the London International School of Art, then attended Central Saint Martins. He gained experience as a design assistant at maison brands in Antwerp and London. After graduation, he launched Taiga Takahashi in New York.
