【What is Special Processing?】
From the 1930s to the late 1960s, sweatshirts primarily used direct dyes and sulfur dyes. The principle behind the fading of vintage clothing is thought to be the oxidation bonding of oxygen in the air with amino acids that hold the dye, leading to hydrolysis, carbon formation, and eventual decay. REMI RELIEF's SP processing replicates this natural principle by using traditional direct dyes combined with oxygen to slowly fade the dye over a long period. While the body also undergoes some damage, this processing differs from those that use chemicals or bio methods to forcibly dissolve the fabric; it creates a natural finish that closely resembles the aging damage of true vintage clothing, making it increasingly indistinguishable from real vintage the more it is worn.

※Some REMI RELIEF products have undergone strong washing processes. In particular, items labeled with "SP processing (Special Processing)" have more significant damage than usual, featuring pinholes (small holes) throughout and random tears at the neckline and sleeve openings as characteristics of the product. Due to the nature of processed products, even items of the same color may vary slightly in hue.
