"GX Series" (G-X Series) aimed at withstanding shocks from all directions (X=extra) as part of the evolving G-SHOCK.
This is the model "GXW-56-1AJF" equipped with a new shock-resistant structure that incorporates a two-layer urethane bezel and inner protector.

The 2-layer urethane bezel is a new structure that overlays an additional bezel on the inside of the conventional urethane bezel.
The hard urethane that guards against impact is placed on the outside, while the soft urethane that absorbs impact is placed on the inside.
The soft urethane bezel covers the button area, enhancing the overall protective capability of the bezel without compromising the operability of the buttons.

The inner protector that covers the module is molded from urethane to have a bellows-shaped cross-section.
The unevenness expands and contracts to serve the role of suspension, preventing shocks from being transmitted directly to the module.
The vulnerable LCD surface is covered with a protector up to the limit where visibility can be ensured, protecting it from impacts.
The uneven shape of the protector surrounding the LCD screen adds a sense of strength to the face design.

The design expresses strength and ruggedness.
Using the largest case size in G-SHOCK history, we have created a powerful design. The coloring is also inspired by strength, with matte black chosen as the main color.
As an accent, we incorporate the brand color red and an orange that evokes the uniforms of rescue teams.

Equipped with standard radio wave reception capabilities for six regions and tough solar features, considering practicality.
This is G-SHOCK, which thoroughly pursues the identity of "toughness" from both technological and design perspectives.
