He has been drawing since childhood as a special skill. Immersed in the punk movement during his teenage years, he received direct guidance and inspiration from Jamie Reid, famous for his artwork for the Sex Pistols, when he visited Japan in 1989. While working at a punk shop in Harajuku, he was chosen in 1992 to design the jacket and artwork for Blankey Jet City’s first video, further centering his life around design and punk. He moved to London for three years in the early 2000s. Forming a unit with a Russian woman, he infiltrated Central Saint Martins College of Art. During a period of homelessness, he lived by selling Sid Vicious ukiyo-e and clothes he made on the spot. After returning to Japan, he went through several jobs and trained in the advertising industry. His expressions and actions began to notably seek out Japanese indigenous themes, and in 2011, prompted by the Great East Japan Earthquake, he formed the traditional instrument group "Seppuku Pistols" and served as its leader. Here, he dropped out of punk. He focuses on re-editing and re-presenting "Forgotten Japan" starting from work clothes, and activities that influence life, daily life, and scenery. Not only does he create "old yet new" Japanese designs and artwork related to Seppuku Pistols, but in recent years, he has also received numerous production requests from various fields, life and love consultations, and requests for lectures and interviews, making it unclear what exactly he does. He has lived in Tochigi for 12 years. His business name is "Yakamashi," commonly known as the leader. 2024: Solo exhibition 'Danbai / Shunga Exhibition'

Sasquatchfabrix./Sasquatchfabrix

Fashion strongly reflects the cultural level of the times, and I believe it should be that way. It must always be avant-garde. To express our own version of "fashion," we set a strong theme in relation to the times, creating avant-garde clothing with a "playful spirit" while repeatedly affirming and denying the classical. Pursuing the realities of a new era, creating items with ethnic characteristics that can only be made by those who live in specific regions and those who lived in this era is also one of our important themes.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0562/2349/8298/files/986826978197322168220251128040259125.jpg?v=1767284108
