From the first-generation DW-5000C model, the GW-B5600 with a connected engine has been introduced, evolving without changing its original square design of the 5000/5600 series.

In terms of features, it pursues precise time accuracy, equipped with Bluetooth® communication functions and multi-band 6 that supports standard radio waves from six regions worldwide.
Through collaboration with the dedicated application G-SHOCK Connected※1, it retrieves accurate time information from internet time servers.
In areas where standard radio waves from six regions are supported, it features radio reception capabilities that automatically correct the time to ensure accuracy.
Additionally, it uses Casio's proprietary power-saving technology with a tough solar system, enabling stable operation, and includes practical features such as a high-brightness full auto LED backlight and world time.
Furthermore, it supports localization with the ability to display the day of the week in six languages※2.
It has achieved a genuine evolution that allows accurate time display worldwide, pursuing global basic functionality.
Moreover, the band of GW-B5600BC adopts a new structure. The outer links embed metal parts within fine resin, and the middle links use lightweight, highly durable fine resin material, resulting in a design that emphasizes lightness, strength, and a glossy texture.
The band clasp is a three-fold type, allowing for smooth attachment.
Despite housing advanced engines, it maintains size through high-density mounting technology.

While inheriting a meticulously refined design, its performance has been evolved. The GW-B5600, which pursues the quality of a watch while maintaining the concept inherited from the first model, has now been introduced.
