The voluminous ZEBRILUS sole is lightweight. The tread resembling a shark sole firmly grips the ground for stability. It also ensures comfortable walking even in hot summer days. The ankle strap is a buckle belt type, allowing for length adjustment. A footbed that fits the foot easily provides a stress-free wearing experience.
The upper uses ATHENA leather, characterized by a textured feel. It’s perfect not only for barefoot wear but also for coordinating with colorful socks. The color of the upper and outsole is also unified for a more refined impression.
The welt is finished with Dr. Martens' iconic yellow stitching.

The birth of Dr. Martens traces back to the invention of the Dr. Martens sole in 1945.
At that time, Dr. Klaus Martin, a German doctor injured in a skiing accident, developed a cushioned rubber sole by processing old tires for rehabilitation.
This special sole traps air inside, absorbing shocks during walking, and achieves a 'bouncing' walking feel called "bouncing".
However, to maximize the unique characteristics of this sole, highly advanced shoemaking techniques were required, and it took more than 10 years and crossing the English Channel to the shoemaking hub, the UK, to bring the product to market.
Then, after meeting the long-established shoemaking manufacturer R. Glicks, the first model was finally completed.
On April 1, 1960, Dr. Martens' memorable first model, "1460Z," was released as the AIRWAIR brand.
The 1460Z, which has a codename derived from its release date, caused a big response, gaining overwhelming support not only from young people in London but also from many musicians.
For example, in the 1960s, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who; in the 70s, Queen, The Police; and from the 80s to 90s, bands like The Smiths and Oasis—all of these are top-tier big names.
In addition to functionality provided by the unique sole, the high designability that allows free coordination with all fashion styles has made it a timeless staple footwear, continuing to lead various cultures and fashion on streets around the world.
