Both are specialists in French vintage frames (frames made in France) from the 1940s-50s, known for their high quality and global leadership in the field. They meticulously disassemble each piece of rare deadstock glasses, down to small screws, photographing and reproducing all parts at full size in the archive book 'Frame France'. These experts are deeply knowledgeable about the world of French vintage.
Based on the enduring design and details of French vintage, without unnecessary editing, only modernizing the size perception to make the atmosphere of French vintage frames more accessible to many people.
Each piece is produced by hand by craftsmen.

The flat lens, custom-made by Guepard, features a multi-coating only on the back surface.
The surface is designed to reflect light, recreating the atmosphere of the time before coating technology was common on lenses.

The nose pads are set higher for easier wear by Asians, and the nose pads are made of the same fabric as the main body, proof of non-mass production.
Accessories such as tags and oil paper also reproduce elements of vintage French eyewear from that era.
