"OOFOS" is a recovery shoe brand developed over two and a half years by a veteran team involved in product development for athletes, trainers, and major shoe manufacturers in Cohasset, Massachusetts, in 2011.
While there are many shoes that enhance rebound for the soles of the feet, they realized that there were no shoes designed to absorb shock and aid recovery, leading them to create OOFOS and become pioneers in recovery shoes.
The unique material OOfoam differs from the common EVA material used in midsoles aimed at generating forward momentum, as it can reduce shock rebound by 37%, thereby alleviating the impact on the soles of the feet upon landing.
As a result, it can reduce the burden on the knees, hips, and back, and the ergonomically designed footbed gently wraps the foot while providing firm support for the arch.
Currently, in the United States, understanding of recovery shoes has deepened year by year since its launch in 2011, and by 2017, it has expanded to 1,700 stores, primarily through online shops.

Lightweight and excellent in insulation, the artificial down "PrimaLoft" is used inside the upper, keeping the feet warm and cozy.
