Hitomi Niikura
Cellist. She began playing the cello in Germany at the age of 8. Graduated at the top of her class from the Toho Gakuen School of Music. Completed the soloist course and teacher training program at the Basel Music Academy with the highest marks. In 2014, she was appointed as the principal cellist of the Camerata Zurich. She is currently active as a soloist based in Switzerland, performing both domestically and internationally.
