"NANGA" is a sleeping bag manufacturer that started in 1941 by the previous generation, "Akira Yokota," in the production area of Omi silk comforters, born from the town of down feathers. The company name "NANGA" is derived from "Nanga Parbat," which is located in the Himalayas. Nanga Parbat, with an elevation of 8,126 meters, is the ninth highest mountain in the world and is also feared as the "Killer Mountain," having caused many accidents due to its difficult climbing conditions. The name reflects the founder Akira Yokota's spirit of "Let's do it because it's difficult; let's climb where no one else will." NANGA's commitment lies in down feathers. Through years of expertise in selecting, washing, and managing down, we continue to create warmer down products.

The versatile down jacket "AURORA TEX DOWN JACKET" has been updated this season with a stand collar type!
The size has been adjusted, making it even more comfortable to wear. The outer fabric uses NANGA's original waterproof and breathable material "AuroraTex." With a water pressure resistance of 20,000mm, it prevents rain and other intrusions. It also excels in breathability (6000g/m2/24hrs), keeping the inside of the clothing dry and comfortable without feeling stuffy. The silhouette is slightly relaxed, allowing for thicker inner layers like hoodies and knits. The stand collar is of moderate height, enhancing warmth around the neck. A different fabric is used for the inner collar to prevent sweat and oil stains on the neck. The sleeves are set forward to match arm movement, and the addition of seam lines reduces down compression and cold spots. Additionally, the front features a waterproof zipper, sleeve adjusters, and a drawcord at the hem to enhance waterproofing and prevent cold air from entering. The inside of the pockets is lined with brushed tricot, providing warmth when you put your hands in. A unique item with NANGA's special touches!
