"NANGA" is a sleeping bag manufacturer that started in 1941 by the predecessor "Akira Yokota" in the production area of Omi silk cotton bedding, born from the town of down.
The company name "Nanga" is derived from "Nanga Parbat," which is located in the Himalayas.
Nanga Parbat, at an elevation of 8,126 meters, is the ninth highest mountain in the world and is also feared as the "Killer Mountain," having caused many climbers to go missing due to its difficulty. The company name embodies the founder Akira Yokota's belief that "because it is difficult, we will do it; we will climb where others do not."
The NANGA's commitment is to down.
