What is 【ビワコットン＝BIWACOTTON】?
Located in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, on the northwest side of Lake Biwa, it is the source of the fabric called "Takashima Chijimi," which has been produced since the Edo period for use in traditional summer clothing.
"Sutetekko were created by the wisdom and ingenuity of our predecessors to comfortably endure the hot and humid summers of Japan."
It was further spread nationwide by Takashima merchants and became widely used during the Taisho era.
"Together with the descendants who inherit that method, BIWACOTTON has evolved to suit modern clothing."
Features of BIWACOTTON
1. Of course, we do not use any fibers other than cotton, including chemical fibers.
It is 100% cotton.
2. The fabric is made with gaps, allowing for good ventilation and making it less likely to cling to the skin, resulting in a refreshing feel.
3. Despite being 100% cotton, it has stretch due to its unique manufacturing process, reducing stress from wearing it and providing a light, comfortable feel.
4. Due to the washing process applied, significant shrinkage or changes in shape during home washing are less likely to occur.

It is a simple and standard regular T-shirt that is easy to use as an inner layer.
The comfortable fit makes it a recommended boxed T-shirt for loungewear and gifts.
