TPE (ThermoPlastic Elastomer) = Thermoplastic Elastomer
It is a relatively new material that has a soft texture, and recently it has been increasingly used in everyday items that come into contact with the human body, such as yoga mats. It is characterized as an eco-friendly material that does not contain plasticizers, showing consideration for the environment.

PVC (PolyVinyl Chloride) = Polyvinyl Chloride
It is made from a material that has been around for a long time and can be produced relatively cheaply, making it useful in many everyday items such as building materials and artificial leather. Chlorine-containing resin plasticizers are added, which can generate toxic hydrogen chloride gas (dioxins) at relatively high temperatures, such as around 50°C.

Compared to PVC, TPE is resistant to high and low temperatures, and has excellent high elasticity, high strength, high resilience, and flexibility. In recent years, as environmental protection has become increasingly widespread, TPE, which is an environmentally friendly thermoplastic elastomer, has begun to replace PVC in many fields.
