The first model DW-5000, featuring a heavy metal case and a screw-back design, is now available with the latest technology.
Despite adopting a full metal case that makes it difficult to transmit signals and a heavy screw back that is disadvantageous for reception, we have achieved the incorporation of Multi-Band 6, which receives standard radio waves from six stations worldwide.
While inheriting the DNA of the first-generation model, we pursue even greater toughness.

The metal case and screw back have been treated with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) to enhance wear resistance.
Furthermore, the screw back is also treated with a mirror finish, enhancing the sense of quality.
In addition, the resin band uses soft urethane for a comfortable fit.

This is a meticulously crafted model that incorporates the latest technology into the original G-SHOCK design born in 1983, further enhancing its quality.
