"OOFOS" is a recovery shoe brand developed over two and a half years by a veteran team involved in product development for athletes, trainers, and major shoe manufacturers in Cohasset, Massachusetts, in 2011.
While many shoes enhance rebound to the soles, they realized there were no shoes designed to absorb shock and focus on recovery, leading them to create OOFOS and pioneer recovery shoes.
The special material OOfoam differs from typical EVA midsole materials aimed at forward propulsion, as it can suppress shock rebound by 37%, reducing impact on the soles during landing.
Therefore, they can reduce the burden on the knees, hips, and back, and with ergonomically designed footbeds that gently cradle the feet and firmly support the arches.
