Founded in 1975 as a contractor for the U.S. Air Force, AVIREX dramatically increased its recognition by supplying flight jackets. In 1985, with an unyielding spirit for design, it also ventured into sports casual wear.

AVIREX VARSITY is a sports line themed around 'Old American Goodness,' with unique coloring and original graphic designs that are favored by popular artists and sports players mainly in the HIPHOP scene, expanding into a status brand among American youth.
