A cold-weather flight jacket adopted by the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s. The Air Force Blue of the N-2A (designated color for U.S. Air Force flight suits) became problematic in actual combat due to its visibility, leading to a quick response, and by the late 1950s, the N-2B was born with the color changed to Sage Green. It follows the design of the N-2A and is a flight jacket excellent in cold protection for heavy zones (-10℃ to -30℃).
