From The North Face comes the "VECTIV Taraval FUTURELIGHT".
This is a lightweight, waterproof outdoor shoe equipped with VECTIV technology that pursues energy efficiency during walking and running through stability, propulsion, and grip.
It uses a waterproof and breathable material, FUTURELIGHT (a proprietary research and development material from THE NORTH FACE), with a membrane made of a nano-film structure layered with micro polyurethane fibers.
The upper is based on synthetic leather and features mesh to enhance breathability.
Areas prone to wear are reinforced with a lightweight and highly protective TPU overlay.
The bottom unit maintains rigidity with a 3D TPU plate and ensures comfortable cushioning with a compression-molded EVA midsole.
This results in stable walking performance without wobble.
The outsole employs Surface Control, which exhibits high grip in multiple directions.
The slightly deeper lug pattern enhances adaptability to unpaved mountain paths and gravel roads.
