MIXTA is a term used by vintage dealers in America, meaning "mixed."

The brand was started in 2010 by two individuals involved in the vintage industry in LA, who believed that the essence of American casual wear lies in printed T-shirts, and that the origin of printed T-shirts is in America. They began producing T-shirts as their own brand. The sampled fabric for the T-shirts is inspired by 1970s Champion football T-shirts, and they have created the yarn from scratch to achieve that atmosphere. All processes, including dyeing, printing, and sewing, are carried out in America.
