Fatigue pants are work pants originally adopted by the U.S. military, featuring external pockets on the front and back. The prototype of fatigue pants was workwear for bakers, which is why they are also known as baker pants.

Ripstop fabric is a slightly lighter material woven with reinforcing threads in a grid pattern at intervals of 5 to 8mm, designed to provide breathability and strength in tropical zones such as jungles and deserts. The name comes from its structure that prevents rips (Rip) from progressing (Stop). The fibers are sewn in a checkerboard pattern, preventing further tearing in case the fabric does rip.

The front features a zipper fly made with high-quality YKK zippers. On both sides, there are two external patch pockets characteristic of fatigue pants, and there are two buttoned flap pockets at the back. The Waist has an adjuster, allowing for length adjustment around the waist.

HOUSTON started in 1972. At that time, the habit of casually wearing military clothing had not yet spread, and it made an impact by manufacturing the original flight jacket in Japan for the first time.

The current Union Trading Co., Ltd., which established HOUSTON, was founded in 1947 in Omiya City, Saitama Prefecture. Ten years later, it began retailing under the name Makino Shokai, repairing and selling surplus clothing from U.S. military bases. In 1960, it introduced sewing equipment and began producing cold-weather clothing and workwear. In 1972, when HOUSTON was born, it reorganized as Makino Shoji Co., Ltd., and later established Omiya Sangyo Co., Ltd., establishing a full-scale production system and continuing to develop. During this time, it played a role in spreading military fashion and American casual style alongside post-war Japan, gathering support from many fans.

The current company name was adopted in 2001. In 2008, it announced another original brand, "JOEY," establishing its position as a fashion manufacturer.
