NANGA is a sleeping bag manufacturer that started in 1941 by the predecessor Akira Yokota, originating from the production area of Omi silk bedding. The company name "NANGA" is derived from "Nanga Parbat," located in the Himalayas. Nanga Parbat, with an elevation of 8,126 meters, is the ninth highest mountain in the world and is also feared as the "Man-Eating Mountain," having caused many accidents due to its difficult ascent. The name reflects the founder Akira Yokota's belief that "because it is difficult, we should take on the challenge, and we will climb where others do not." NANGA's commitment lies in down feathers. Through years of expertise in selecting, washing, and managing down, they continue to produce warmer down products.
